At the head of Mallacoota Inlet, junction of the Wallagaraugh and Genoa Rivers, Gipsy Point is well known for its natural beauty and its great fishing. Facilities include a public wharf and a boat launching ramp, Gipsy Point Apartments and Gipsy Point Lodge. A great place to get really close to some kangaroos, particularly as dusk nears Upstream in the Wallagaraugh River are some of the most prolific bream breeding grounds in Victoria. |
